Demo
Short spots for made-up candidates, back to back. It moves from pointed contrast ads to a hopeful candidate introduction, a local schools issue spot and an upbeat close.
Contrast spots, a candidate introduction, an issue spot on local schools and a positive spot. All names are made up.
John Schiller thinks pretty highly of himself. […] The problem is, some of the boards don’t even exist.
There was a time when honor, integrity, courtesy and chivalry mattered. […] We need that time again.
[…] Local school boards, not bureaucrats in Richmond, should be making decisions about their local schools.
You are a warrior. You are brilliant. You are special. Isn’t it time we had a candidate that recognized that as well?
We need a strong voice, fighting for our way of life.
How I read a political spot
A political ad has about thirty seconds to earn a voter’s trust. I read for the person at home: every word clear, warm when the spot is about hope, firm when it’s a contrast, and never over the top. You set the tone and I match it.
Campaign schedules move fast. When a script changes after a poll, a debate or a legal review, send the new lines and I’ll record them so they sit right next to the first read.
